Intelligence Brief
FlySpark QD82 Heavy-Lift Multi-Tube Drone Payload Dropper is a parallel tube-rack release system for Ø82 mm-class payloads, built for large multirotors that must carry several payloads and place them one at a time or in salvos. Offered in 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-tube versions, the QD82 is made from aluminium alloy and carbon fibre, runs on 5 V and is triggered by a standard PWM servo signal or directly from the remote control.

The QD82 is part of the FlySpark UAV Payload Droppers & Release Systems range, supplied and supported in India by AnuShakti Infotech Pvt. Ltd. for defence, government security, public-safety and professional integrator customers, with export enquiries welcome from verified end users.
Every variant shares the same 232 mm length and 254 mm height; only the width grows with the number of tube pairs: 92 mm for the QD82-2, 187 mm for the QD82-4, 282 mm for the QD82-6 and 378 mm for the QD82-8, at approximately 1000, 2000, 3000 and 4000 g. Each command releases either a single tube or half of the loaded tubes, and the user fits the dropper to their own mounting rack so it can be adapted to almost any suitable heavy-lift airframe.

The QD82 is designed for missions where one payload per sortie is not enough. Its parallel tubes keep each Ø82 mm-class payload upright, guided and separated, so the aircraft can make several precise drops, or a half-load salvo, without landing to reload. The aluminium-alloy tubes and carbon-fibre base plate keep the rack stiff under load while holding dropper weight to about 500 g per tube.
Integration is deliberately simple: one 5 V supply and one PWM channel from the flight controller or receiver, or a switch on the RC transmitter. Because the mounting rack is user-fitted, integrators can match the dropper to Matrice 300 / 350-class enterprise airframes, heavy hexacopters or custom octocopters without waiting for an airframe-specific bracket.

The QD82 release electronics take a standard PWM servo signal from a spare flight-controller or receiver output, so a drop can be commanded from a transmitter switch, a ground-station payload button or an autopilot mission step. Each tube has its own retaining release at the base; when commanded, the payload exits downward under gravity, clear of the tube.

Two release modes are available. In single release, each command lets go of one tube for precise, sequential placement. In half-load salvo, each command releases half of the total tubes, so two commands empty the rack: 1 tube per command on the QD82-2, 2 on the QD82-4, 3 on the QD82-6 and 4 on the QD82-8. Channel assignment, failsafe behaviour and release sequence are configured and bench-tested at commissioning.

The QD82 is intended for large multirotors with genuine heavy-lift capacity: Matrice 300 / 350-class enterprise drones, heavy hexacopters, octocopters and custom heavy-lift frames. Add the dropper weight (1000 to 4000 g) and the full payload mass to the take-off weight and stay within the aircraft maker’s limit. The dropper is supplied without an airframe-specific bracket; fit it on your own rack or payload rails, centred under the centre of gravity, with clearance below the tube mouths for clean separation.

All variants are listed in PWM and SQ (quick-release) builds; FlySpark confirms the build and mounting interface with each order.

For armed forces, paramilitary units and government security agencies, the QD82 turns a heavy-lift multirotor into a multi-drop delivery platform for signalling, training and support payloads, placing several items per sortie without exposing personnel.
For rescue services, utilities, agriculture and research teams, the QD82 delivers several payloads per flight to places that are slow, costly or dangerous to reach on foot or by boat.

The QD82 is the heavy-lift option in the FlySpark dropper range, sized for Ø82 mm-class payloads and large multirotors. For lighter payloads or smaller aircraft, the SD, WD, LD and ZD series offer clip-on and multi-channel droppers for FPV-class drones, camera drones and mid-size multirotors.

IMPORTANT USE NOTE: The QD82 is supplied only to verified end users. The buyer is responsible for using only lawful payloads, obtaining all airspace permissions and complying with export-control and end-use rules. Payload fit is confirmed by FlySpark for the end user’s approved payload. Never fly over people, keep the take-off mass within the aircraft maker’s limit and test the release on the ground before every mission.
Q: What is a heavy-lift drone payload dropper? A: A heavy-lift drone payload dropper is a release system mounted under a large multirotor that holds one or more payloads and lets them go on command. The FlySpark QD82 holds its payloads in parallel vertical tubes and releases them downward from the tube base when it receives a PWM or remote-control signal.
Q: What is the FlySpark QD82? A: The FlySpark QD82 is a heavy-lift, multi-tube parallel-rack drone dropper for Ø82 mm-class payloads. It is built from aluminium alloy and carbon fibre, runs on 5 V, is triggered by a PWM servo signal or remote control, and is offered in 2-, 4-, 6- and 8-tube versions (QD82-2, QD82-4, QD82-6 and QD82-8).
Q: What sizes and weights are the QD82 variants? A: QD82-2: 232 × 92 × 254 mm, approx. 1000 g. QD82-4: 232 × 187 × 254 mm, approx. 2000 g. QD82-6: 232 × 282 × 254 mm, approx. 3000 g. QD82-8: 232 × 378 × 254 mm, approx. 4000 g. Weights are for the dropper without payload.
Q: What payloads does the QD82 carry? A: Each tube carries one Ø82 mm-class payload, so the rack holds 2, 4, 6 or 8 payloads depending on the variant. Typical lawful payloads include marker or screening smoke, inert training cylinders, sensors, beacons and compact emergency supply packs. Payload fit is confirmed by FlySpark for the end user’s approved payload.
Q: How is the QD82 triggered? A: By a standard PWM servo signal from a spare flight-controller or receiver channel, or directly by the operator through a switch on the RC transmitter. The release electronics run on 5 V supplied by the aircraft.
Q: What are the release modes? A: The QD82 supports single release, where each command lets go of one tube, and half-load salvo, where each command releases half of the total tubes (for example 3 tubes per command on the QD82-6). The mode and sequence are configured and bench-tested at commissioning.
Q: Which drones is the QD82 compatible with? A: It is designed for large multirotors with real heavy-lift capacity, such as Matrice 300 / 350-class enterprise airframes and heavy hexacopters and octocopters. The take-off mass including the dropper and full payload must stay inside the aircraft maker’s limit.
Q: How is the QD82 mounted on the drone? A: The QD82 is supplied without an airframe-specific bracket; the user fits it to their own mounting rack or payload rails under the aircraft belly. FlySpark can advise on rack design, centre-of-gravity placement and clearance below the tube mouths.
Q: What is the QD82 made of? A: The tubes and clamps are aluminium alloy and the base plate and electronics enclosure are carbon fibre, giving a rigid, lightweight structure for heavy payload loads.
Q: Which QD82 variant should I choose? A: Choose the tube count to match your aircraft’s spare payload capacity and mission: the QD82-2 (approx. 1000 g) suits smaller heavy-lift frames or single-point drops, while the QD82-8 (approx. 4000 g) suits large octocopters that need eight payload positions per sortie.
Q: What is the QD82 drone dropper price in India? A: Price is on request because each order is configured for the variant, build option and integration support required. Contact FlySpark on WhatsApp or email for a quotation in INR or for export.
Q: What is the lead time, and do you export? A: Lead time is confirmed with the quotation. FlySpark supplies across India and handles export enquiries subject to end-user verification, export-control rules and the documentation required by the buyer’s country.
Q: Who can buy the QD82? A: The QD82 is supplied only to verified end users such as defence and government agencies, public-safety organisations and professional integrators, after end-use details are provided.
Q: Can other payloads be integrated on the QD82? A: FlySpark supplies the QD82 as a payload release system for lawful payloads. Integration of any other authorised payload is the responsibility of the end user, must comply with national law and procurement rules, and may require export and end-use licensing.
Q: Can the QD82 be used for search and rescue? A: Yes. Rescue teams use multi-tube droppers to deliver radios, flotation aids, first-aid pouches and marker smoke to people stranded in water, on hillsides or in flood zones where size and weight fit the tubes.
Q: How do I check that the QD82 is ready before flight? A: Confirm the tubes are seated in their clamps, the 5 V supply and PWM lead are secure, the release responds on the bench from the assigned channel, and the loaded aircraft hovers stably before the first operational drop.
Q: How does the QD82 compare with other FlySpark droppers? A: The QD82 is the heavy-lift tube rack for Ø82 mm-class payloads. The QD60 covers Ø60 mm-class payloads in a lighter rack, while the SD, WD and ZD series are lighter clip-on droppers for FPV-class drones and smaller multirotors.
Q: What warranty is included? A: Warranty covers manufacturing defects for 1 year under approved use and normal operating conditions. Damage from crashes, overload, wrong wiring or unauthorised modification may not be covered.
