Its parallel tubes keep each Ø82 mm-class payload upright, guided and separated, so the aircraft can make several precise drops, or a half-load salvo, without landing to reload. Integration is deliberately simple: one 5 V supply and one PWM channel from the flight controller or receiver, or a switch on the RC transmitter. The QD82 release electronics take a standard PWM servo signal from a spare flight-controller or receiver output, so a drop can be commanded from a transmitter switch, a ground-station payload button or an autopilot mission step. Each tube has its own retaining release at the base; when commanded, the payload exits downward under gravity, clear of the tube.

Two release modes are available. In single release, each command lets go of one tube for precise, sequential placement.
