Two versions are offered: 60ZD2-CRSF, which straps directly under the airframe, and 60ZD2-SQ, a quick-release version that clicks onto an aircraft-side quick-release mount (sold separately) for fast swaps and reloading.

Two payloads per sortie halves the number of flights for marking, resupply and emplacement tasks. The curved cradles are shaped for the Ø60 mm size class, so cylindrical payloads seat repeatably without improvised padding, and the strap-and-latch retention keeps them secure through manoeuvring and wind. At approx. 200 g the dropper leaves most of a 7–10 inch quadcopter’s payload margin for the payloads themselves.
CRSF control means the dropper plugs into the same Crossfire or ELRS link the pilot already flies with. The release command is assigned to a transmitter switch, and FlySpark supplies wiring and channel-mapping guidance for the customer’s airframe.


The pilot assigns the release command to a switch on the Crossfire or ELRS transmitter. The CRSF receiver, or a spare flight-controller CRSF output, passes the data stream and 5 V supply to the 60ZD2. The onboard decoder reads the command and drives the servo latch in the central tower, which frees the strap buckle of the first payload position; the payload drops away under gravity while the second position stays secured. The next command releases the second payload. After landing, the straps are refastened over fresh payloads and the latch is reset.


The 60ZD2 is designed for FPV-class and custom-built multirotors with a CRSF radio link — typically 7–10 inch quadcopters with sufficient payload margin for the dropper plus two payloads. The 60ZD2-CRSF version is strapped to the aircraft’s bottom plate. The 60ZD2-SQ version mounts through a quick-release mount on the aircraft, which is sold separately. Mount the dropper on the aircraft’s centre line so the centre of gravity stays balanced before and after each release.
