Intelligence Brief
FlySpark RD5-35 is a 5-position revolver drone payload dropper that releases up to five 35 mm-class cylindrical payloads, one position at a time, from a single compact rotary unit. The dropper measures 180 × 110 × 165 mm, weighs approximately 300 g, runs on 5 V and is triggered by a standard PWM signal from the aircraft's flight controller or receiver, so it can be fitted to FPV-class drones, custom-built multirotors and DJI M350-class enterprise drones.
The RD5-35 is part of the FlySpark UAV Payload Droppers & Release Systems range, supplied and supported in India by AnuShakti Infotech Pvt. Ltd. for defence, government security, public-safety and professional integration customers, with export enquiries handled under applicable controls.
Instead of spreading payloads along a flat rack, the RD5-35 carries them in a rotary wheel inside a deep, compact housing. Each PWM command indexes the wheel and frees the payload at the release gate, while the remaining positions stay seated for the next command. The single central mounting point keeps the load close to the aircraft's centre of gravity, and the quick-release plate lets crews swap a reloaded dropper between sorties in seconds. The dropper-side quick-release seat is a free upgrade; the aircraft-side seat is sold separately.

The operator assigns a switch or button on the transmitter, or an auxiliary output in the mission planner, to a spare PWM channel. When the channel is commanded, the RD5-35 rotates its wheel to the next position and the payload at the release gate falls clear under gravity. The remaining payloads stay locked in the wheel until the next command. Channel mapping, PWM endpoints and failsafe behaviour are configured and verified by FlySpark at commissioning, and any multi-drop sequencing is confirmed at configuration.

The RD5-35 is intended for FPV-class drones and custom-built multirotors, and for DJI M350-class enterprise drones fitted with a payload rail adapter. It mounts through a quick-release plate: the dropper-side seat sits on the top plate of the RD5-35 and the aircraft-side seat, sold separately, is fixed to the airframe or payload rail. Before flight, add approximately 300 g plus the payloads to the take-off weight and re-check centre of gravity and hover margin.

For armed forces, paramilitary units and government security agencies, the RD5-35 gives a small drone five separate, precisely timed drops of approved 35 mm-class payloads from one sortie, for marking, signalling, training and resupply tasks.
For rescue services, utilities, agriculture and research teams, the RD5-35 turns a compact multirotor into a multi-drop delivery tool for small items that must reach a precise spot.

The RD5-35 is the compact rotary option for the 35 mm payload class. Choose a parallel-rack model when you need more channels along a flat under-body mount, or a single-channel model for small camera drones.

IMPORTANT USE NOTE: The RD5-35 is supplied only to verified end users. The buyer is responsible for using only lawful payloads, for obtaining all airspace permissions and operating approvals, and for complying with export-control and end-use regulations. Never fly over people or release payloads over people, property or public roads. Payload fit is confirmed by FlySpark for the end user's approved payload.
Q: What is a revolver drone dropper? A: A revolver (rotary) drone dropper carries several payloads in a rotating wheel under the aircraft. Each release command indexes the wheel so one payload position is freed at a time, giving several separate drops from a single, compact unit.
Q: What is the FlySpark RD5-35? A: The FlySpark RD5-35 is a 5-position revolver drone payload dropper for 35 mm-class cylindrical payloads. It measures 180 × 110 × 165 mm, weighs approximately 300 g, runs on 5 V and is triggered by a PWM signal from the flight controller or receiver.
Q: What payloads fit the RD5-35? A: The wheel is sized for 35 mm-class cylindrical payloads such as inert training cylinders, marker capsules, compact beacons and small rescue capsules. Payload fit is confirmed by FlySpark for the end user’s approved payload before supply.
Q: How is the RD5-35 triggered? A: By a standard PWM servo signal on a spare flight-controller or receiver channel. The operator assigns a switch or button on the transmitter, or an auxiliary output in the mission planner, to command each release.
Q: What is the difference between the 35RD5-PWM and 35RD5-SQ variants? A: Both use the same 5 V PWM revolver, 180 × 110 × 165 mm and approximately 300 g. The SQ variant is the quick-release version, so the dropper can be clipped on and off the aircraft without tools between sorties.
Q: Is the aircraft-side quick-release seat included? A: The dropper-side quick-release seat is a free upgrade. The aircraft-side seat is sold separately and must be ordered for each airframe that will carry the dropper.
Q: Which drones are compatible with the RD5-35? A: It is intended for FPV-class drones and custom-built multirotors, and for DJI M350-class enterprise drones fitted with a suitable payload rail adapter. Check the aircraft’s spare payload capacity, centre of gravity and a free PWM output before ordering.
Q: How much does the RD5-35 add to take-off weight? A: The dropper weighs approximately 300 g, plus the aircraft-side quick-release seat and the payloads. Recalculate all-up weight and centre of gravity and confirm hover margin before operational flights.
Q: What is the RD5-35 price in India? A: Price is on request because each order is matched to the aircraft, mounting and payload. Contact FlySpark on WhatsApp or email for a quotation in INR or for export.
Q: What is the lead time, and do you export? A: Lead time is confirmed with the quotation. FlySpark supplies across India and handles export enquiries subject to end-user verification, export-control rules and the documentation required by the destination country.
Q: Who can buy the RD5-35? A: It is supplied only to verified end users such as defence and government agencies, public-safety organisations and professional integrators. FlySpark may request end-user and end-use documentation before supply.
Q: Can the RD5-35 be used to carry weapons? A: The RD5-35 is supplied as a payload release mechanism for lawful payloads. Any other payload integration is the sole responsibility of the authorised end user, must comply with national law, airspace rules and procurement regulations, and is subject to export controls.
Q: Can it be used for search and rescue? A: Yes. It can deliver up to five small rescue capsules, marker canisters or beacons sized to the 35 mm class, one position at a time, to people in difficult terrain or on water.
Q: How does the RD5-35 compare with the LD series parallel racks? A: The LD series carries the same 35 mm payload class in flat parallel racks of 2, 4, 6 or 8 channels (94 to 244 mm long, 52 mm tall). The RD5-35 packs 5 positions into a compact 180 × 110 × 165 mm rotary block that suits a single central mounting point.
Q: Can the release logic be customised? A: Channel mapping, PWM endpoints and failsafe behaviour are set at commissioning. Any multi-drop sequencing beyond one position per command is discussed and confirmed with FlySpark at configuration.
Q: Does FlySpark provide integration support? A: Yes. FlySpark / AnuShakti Infotech Pvt. Ltd. supports airframe selection, mounting, PWM channel set-up, ground testing, operator training and after-sales service.
Q: What warranty is included? A: Warranty covers manufacturing defects for 1 year under approved use and normal operating conditions. Crash damage, overload, wrong supply voltage or unauthorised modification may not be covered.
