Intelligence Brief
FlySpark QD60 Heavy-Lift Multi-Tube Drone Dropper is a parallel tube-rack payload release system for large multirotors, carrying 2, 4, 6 or 8 Ø60 mm-class cylindrical payloads in two parallel rows. Built from aluminium alloy and carbon fibre, it runs on 5 V, is triggered by a standard PWM servo signal and releases payloads one at a time or as a half-load salvo.

The QD60 is the heavy-lift Ø60 mm-class tube rack in the FlySpark UAV Payload Droppers & Release Systems range, supplied and supported in India by AnuShakti Infotech Pvt. Ltd., with export enquiries welcome. It is offered in four sizes that share the same 183 mm depth and 184 mm height: QD60-2 (183 × 89 × 184 mm, approx. 500 g), QD60-4 (183 × 139 × 184 mm, approx. 1000 g), QD60-6 (183 × 209 × 184 mm, approx. 1500 g) and QD60-8 (183 × 279 × 184 mm, approx. 2000 g).
The dropper is designed for M300 / M350-class enterprise airframes and custom heavy-lift hexacopters and quadcopters. The user fits their own mounting rack between the airframe and the dropper, so the QD60 can be adapted to almost any heavy-lift payload interface, and an SQ quick-release version is available for fast swaps between sorties.

Every QD60 variant uses the same tube depth, height, voltage and control signal, so crews trained on one size can operate all four. Only the tube count, overall length and weight change.

Large multirotors can lift far more than a single-channel release can use. The QD60 turns that lift into capacity: up to eight Ø60 mm-class payloads per sortie in a compact, rigid aluminium and carbon-fibre rack, with a simple PWM interface that any mainstream flight controller or receiver can drive. Single release gives precise, one-at-a-time placement; half-load salvo puts half of the load-out down together when a wider pattern or faster delivery is needed.

The QD60 takes a standard PWM servo signal from the aircraft’s flight controller or radio receiver and a regulated 5 V supply. The pilot assigns a transmitter switch or ground-station command to the release channel; the dropper’s release actuators then open one tube per command in single mode, or half of the loaded tubes together in half-load salvo mode. Channel mapping, PWM end-points and fail-safe output are configured and ground-tested with empty tubes during integration.

The QD60 is intended for large heavy-lift multirotors only. When sizing the aircraft, add the dropper weight (approx. 500–2000 g by variant), the mounting rack and the full payload load-out to the take-off weight and stay within the manufacturer’s rated payload. Mount the rack on the centre of gravity, because a half-load salvo changes the aircraft’s mass in a single step.

For armed forces, paramilitary units and government security agencies, the QD60 adds multi-payload capacity to existing heavy-lift drones for marking, sensing, resupply and training missions without putting personnel at risk.
For public-safety services, utilities, agriculture and research teams, the QD60 lets one heavy-lift sortie place several Ø60 mm-class canisters exactly where they are needed.

The QD60 is the choice when a large multirotor must carry several Ø60 mm-class cylindrical payloads in one sortie. Smaller droppers in the range suit FPV-class and camera drones, and the QD82 series covers larger payloads.

IMPORTANT USE NOTE: The FlySpark QD60 is supplied only to verified end users. The buyer is responsible for using only lawful payloads, obtaining all airspace permissions and complying with export-control and end-use rules. Payload fit is confirmed by FlySpark for the end user’s approved payload. Never fly over people, release only over a cleared and controlled drop zone, and respect the aircraft’s rated payload.
Q: What is a multi-tube drone dropper? A: A multi-tube drone dropper is a payload release system that holds several cylindrical payloads in parallel tubes under a drone and releases them on command. The FlySpark QD60 carries 2, 4, 6 or 8 Ø60 mm-class cylindrical payloads in two parallel rows.
Q: What is the FlySpark QD60? A: The FlySpark QD60 is a heavy-lift parallel tube-rack drone dropper built from aluminium alloy and carbon fibre for large multirotors. It runs on 5 V, is triggered by a PWM servo signal and releases payloads one at a time or as a half-load salvo.
Q: Which QD60 variants are available? A: Four: QD60-2 (2 tubes, 183 × 89 × 184 mm, approx. 500 g), QD60-4 (4 tubes, 183 × 139 × 184 mm, approx. 1000 g), QD60-6 (6 tubes, 183 × 209 × 184 mm, approx. 1500 g) and QD60-8 (8 tubes, 183 × 279 × 184 mm, approx. 2000 g).
Q: What payloads does the QD60 carry? A: It is sized for Ø60 mm-class cylindrical payloads such as inert training cylinders, marker and smoke canisters, beacons and compact rescue or resupply canisters. Payload fit is confirmed by FlySpark for the end user’s approved payload.
Q: What release modes does the QD60 support? A: Two: single release, where one tube is released per command, and half-load salvo, where half of the loaded tubes are released together (for example 3 of 6 on the QD60-6 or 4 of 8 on the QD60-8).
Q: How is the QD60 triggered? A: By a standard PWM servo signal from the aircraft’s flight controller or radio receiver, mapped to a switch or channel on the pilot’s transmitter or ground control station. Operating voltage is 5 V.
Q: Does the QD60 support CRSF or a light-sensor trigger? A: No. The QD60 is a PWM-triggered dropper. For CRSF / ELRS serial control or a no-wiring light-sensor trigger, look at other droppers in the FlySpark range or use a receiver-to-PWM converter.
Q: What is the difference between the PWM and SQ versions? A: Both use PWM triggering. The SQ version is the quick-release build for faster fitting and removal between sorties; the standard PWM version is fixed to the user’s mounting rack.
Q: Which drones can carry the QD60? A: Large heavy-lift multirotors: enterprise hexacopters and quadcopters in the M300 / M350 class, or custom heavy-lift builds with a free PWM output and enough payload margin for the dropper plus its payloads.
Q: Is a mounting rack included? A: No. The user fits their own mounting rack between the airframe and the dropper, because each heavy-lift airframe has a different payload interface. FlySpark can advise on rack design during integration.
Q: How do I size the aircraft for a QD60? A: Add the dropper weight, the mounting rack and the full payload load-out to the aircraft’s take-off weight and stay inside the manufacturer’s rated payload. Mount the rack on the centre of gravity, because a half-load salvo shifts mass quickly.
Q: Can the QD60 be used for search and rescue? A: Yes. Rescue and resupply canisters, flotation aids, radios and first-aid items packed in Ø60 mm-class canisters can be released to people in difficulty in mountain, flood and maritime incidents.
Q: Can the QD60 be armed? A: The QD60 is supplied as a payload release system for lawful marking, sensing, resupply, rescue and training missions. Integration of any other authorised payload is the responsibility of the end user in accordance with national law, export controls and procurement rules.
Q: Who can buy the QD60? A: It is supplied only to verified end users such as defence and government security agencies, public-safety organisations and professional integrators. End-user documentation may be requested before supply.
Q: What is the QD60 drone dropper price in India? A: Price is on request because each order is configured by variant, version (PWM or SQ) and integration support. Contact FlySpark on WhatsApp or email for a quotation in INR or for export.
Q: What is the lead time, and do you export? A: Lead time is confirmed with the quotation. FlySpark supplies across India and handles export enquiries subject to applicable export-control and end-user documentation.
Q: How does the QD60 compare with other FlySpark droppers? A: It is the heavy-lift tube rack for Ø60 mm-class cylindrical payloads on large multirotors. Lighter single-, dual- and multi-channel droppers suit FPV-class and camera drones, while the QD82 series covers larger Ø82 mm-class payloads.
Q: Does FlySpark provide integration support? A: Yes. FlySpark / AnuShakti Infotech Pvt. Ltd. supports channel mapping, PWM set-up, mounting-rack advice, payload-fit confirmation, ground testing and operator training.
Q: What warranty is included? A: Warranty covers manufacturing defects for 1 year under approved use and normal operating conditions. Damage from crashes, overload, wrong wiring or voltage, or unauthorised modification may not be covered.
