Intelligence Brief
The FlySpark TK1000 is a stair-climbing robot platform built on a heavy-duty tracked robot tank chassis, made for robots that must carry real equipment up staircases, through buildings and across rough outdoor ground. It carries a 100kg rated payload, climbs slopes up to 40°, steps over 180mm obstacles and runs for about 4 hours on its 48V 60Ah lithium battery, all in a 1000 × 790 × 430mm footprint that fits through doors, corridors and stairwells.
The TK1000 is part of the FlySpark Unmanned Ground & Surface Vehicles (UGV / USV) range and is supplied and integrated in India by FlySpark / AnuShakti Infotech Pvt. Ltd. The hull is built from high-carbon steel with a baked electrostatic paint finish, and rides on a Christie + Matilda four-wheel set balanced suspension composite shock-absorption system. That combination keeps the 150mm Kevlar-reinforced rubber tracks pressed onto stair edges and broken ground while damping shocks to the payload, so the TK1000 climbs stairs flexibly under load and moves smoothly through buildings and complex field terrain.

Two 48V 1000W brushless DC motors drive the tracks, each with an industrial-grade 1000-line incremental photoelectric encoder for accurate speed feedback and smooth closed-loop control. Speed is adjustable from 0 to 5.4km/h, braking is by motor brake, and the chassis can spin in place even at its full 100kg rated load. Protection is IP65 and the operating range is -20°C to 60°C, so it works in rain, dust and hot or cold sites.

The TK1000 is designed as an open unmanned ground vehicle platform, not a closed vehicle. Its main controller runs open-loop and PID closed-loop control, accepts velocity commands from a host computer over Serial or CAN with a published communication protocol, and reports linear and angular velocity back. Adding your own autonomy computer, ROS navigation stack, lidar, cameras, manipulator arm or mission payload is straightforward, and the reserved 48V 10A, 24V 5A and 12V 5A outputs power that equipment directly from the main battery.

The standard 2.4GHz remote control gives forward, reverse, left, right and spin-in-place control with about 200m line-of-sight range in open areas. Replaceable long-range remote controllers, real-time HD 1080P video transmission, mesh self-organizing network control and 4G/5G remote control are available as upgrades for beyond-line-of-sight operations.

FlySpark offers tracked and wheeled robot chassis so buyers can match payload, terrain and range to the mission. The TK1000 sits between the TK990 and the TK2100: it adds 20kg more payload, a steeper 40° climb and IP65 protection over the TK990, while staying compact enough for doors and stairwells where the 2100mm-long TK2100 is too large.

The TK1000’s stair-climbing ability, compact footprint and open Serial/CAN control make it a practical EOD robot platform and reconnaissance base for robots that must enter buildings, tunnels and confined spaces ahead of personnel.
For industry, public safety and research, the TK1000 provides a rugged, programmable carrier that handles stairs, walkways and outdoor ground with a 100kg payload.

IMPORTANT USE NOTE: The TK1000 is a mobile robot chassis for lawful industrial, security, research, rescue, defence and logistics applications. Operate it only on sites where you have permission, keep people clear of the tracks and below the chassis when climbing stairs, respect the 100kg rated load, avoid water deeper than splash level, and follow local safety, RF and site regulations. Optional radio links must be used only on legally permitted frequencies and power levels.
Q: What is a stair climbing robot or tracked UGV? A: A tracked UGV (unmanned ground vehicle) is a remotely operated or autonomous robot that drives on rubber or steel tracks instead of wheels. Tracks spread the load and grip stair edges, rubble and mud, which is why tracked robot chassis are the usual base for stair climbing robots, EOD robots and inspection robots.
Q: What is the FlySpark TK1000? A: The FlySpark TK1000 is a compact, heavy-duty tracked robot chassis (tank chassis) built to climb stairs while carrying a load. It has a 100kg rated payload, 40° maximum climbing angle, 180mm obstacle clearance, 4 hours endurance and IP65 protection, and serves as an open base for security, inspection, EOD, rescue and research robots.
Q: Can the TK1000 really climb stairs? A: Yes. Load-carrying stair climbing is a core design goal. The 150mm Kevlar-reinforced rubber tracks and the Christie + Matilda four-wheel balanced suspension keep the tracks pressed onto stair edges, so the chassis can climb standard building staircases and move between floors. Always test with your actual payload and stair geometry before deployment.
Q: What is the payload capacity of the TK1000? A: The rated load capacity is 100kg, at which the chassis can still turn in place. Some marketing material quotes up to 120kg; FlySpark specifies the conservative 100kg rated figure for reliable operation, especially on stairs and slopes.
Q: How long does the TK1000 run on one charge? A: Endurance is about 4 hours from the standard 48V 60Ah lithium battery, depending on payload, terrain, stair climbing, speed and temperature. The pack has overcharge and over-discharge protection and charges from the included AC 220V charger through an independent aviation plug.
Q: What motors drive the TK1000 and how fast is it? A: Two 48V 1000W brushless DC motors, each paired with an industrial-grade 1000-line incremental photoelectric encoder for precise speed feedback and closed-loop control. Braking is by motor brake, and speed is adjustable from 0 to 5.4km/h (a higher-speed configuration up to about 7.2km/h can be discussed for flat-ground use).
Q: What terrain can the TK1000 handle? A: It climbs slopes up to 40° (unloaded), steps over obstacles up to 180mm high, climbs stairs under load and drives on grass, gravel, sand, mud, rubble and indoor floors. Trench-crossing width and fording depth are not rated, so avoid deep water.
Q: What kind of suspension does it use? A: A Christie + Matilda four-wheel set balanced suspension composite shock-absorption system. It combines coil-spring Christie suspension with Matilda-style balanced bogie wheel sets so the tracks follow uneven ground and stair edges while damping shocks to the payload.
Q: Is the TK1000 waterproof, and what temperatures can it work in? A: The protection rating is IP65 — dust-tight and protected against water jets, suitable for rain and wet outdoor sites. It is not rated for submersion or fording. The operating temperature range is -20°C to 60°C.
Q: How is the TK1000 controlled? A: It ships with a 2.4GHz remote control for forward, reverse, left, right and spin-in-place turning, with about 200m line-of-sight range in open areas. Replaceable long-range remote controllers are available for longer distances.
Q: Does the TK1000 robot chassis support ROS? A: Yes. The main controller accepts host-computer velocity commands over Serial or CAN using an open communication protocol and reports linear and angular velocity back, so a ROS node on your onboard computer can drive it like any differential-drive base. It supports both open-loop and PID closed-loop control.
Q: How do I integrate a payload on the TK1000? A: Mount cameras, LiDAR, a manipulator arm or a sensor mast on the flat steel top deck and power them from the reserved 48V 10A, 24V 5A and 12V 5A outputs. Keep the total within the 100kg rated load and the centre of gravity low for stair work; FlySpark can prepare the mounting and wiring plan.
Q: What is the TK1000 used for? A: Stair-climbing robots, off-road robots, security and patrol robots, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) robot platforms, building and plant inspection, agricultural spraying, disinfection and epidemic-prevention robots, and university or R&D autonomy projects.
Q: Is the TK1000 suitable as an EOD robot platform? A: Yes, it is a common base for EOD and IED-inspection robots because it climbs stairs, carries 100kg and accepts a manipulator arm, cameras and radios through its Serial/CAN interface and payload power outputs. The arm, gripper and EOD tools are integrated per project.
Q: Can the TK1000 be armed? A: The TK1000 is supplied as an unarmed mobile chassis and the standard supply contains no weapon payload. Any weapon or effector integration is only for lawful, authorised government end users, is subject to export-control and licensing rules, and is the responsibility of the integrator.
Q: What is the price of the TK1000 in India? A: Price is on request because each chassis is configured to the customer’s payload, control and communication requirements. Contact FlySpark on WhatsApp or email for a quotation in INR or for export.
Q: What is the lead time, and can FlySpark export the TK1000? A: The TK1000 is built on order and the lead time is confirmed with the quotation for your configuration. FlySpark supplies customers across India and can support export orders subject to applicable export-control and end-user documentation.
Q: How does the TK1000 compare with the TK990 and TK2100? A: The TK990 is lighter (80kg payload, up to 9km/h) and the TK2100 is much larger (300kg payload, 500mm wading). The TK1000 sits between them with 100kg payload, a 40° climb and IP65 in a compact body sized for stairwells.
Q: Does FlySpark provide integration support? A: Yes. FlySpark / AnuShakti Infotech Pvt. Ltd. supports payload mounting, power and data integration, autonomy-stack interfacing, commissioning, operator training and after-sales service.
Q: What warranty is included? A: Warranty covers manufacturing defects for 1 year under approved use and normal operating conditions. Damage from overload, immersion, impact, falls on stairs due to misuse, wrong charging or unauthorized modification may not be covered.
