Intelligence Brief
FlySpark PWD Parallel-Latch Multi-Channel Drone Dropper is a 2-, 4-, 6- or 8-channel drone payload release system that carries compact ovoid payloads in a parallel rack and releases them one channel at a time. Each channel is held by a mechanical buckle lock and opened on command by CRSF / PWM signal, light-sensor trigger or a dedicated remote, from a wide 7–28 V supply.

The PWD series is part of the FlySpark UAV Payload Droppers & Release Systems range, supplied and supported in India by AnuShakti Infotech Pvt. Ltd. for defence, government security, public-safety and professional integrator customers, with export enquiries handled under applicable controls.
Four sizes cover light FPV-class aircraft through DJI M350-class enterprise multirotors: PWD2 measures 134 × 65 × 65 mm at approx. 140 g, PWD4 145 × 120 × 70 mm at approx. 350 g, and PWD8 280 × 120 × 71 mm at approx. 660 g; PWD6 size and weight are confirmed on request. The unit mounts on a quick-release plate, with the dropper-side quick-release seat supplied as a free upgrade and the aircraft-side plate sold separately. An optional chassis loading tray (260 × 200 × 36 mm, 310 g) is available.

The PWD puts several independent release channels into one compact parallel rack, so a single sortie can deliver several items to separate points without landing to reload. The buckle lock holds each payload positively in flight, and the latch on one channel opens without disturbing the others.
Trigger flexibility is the second reason. FPV-class and custom aircraft can drive the PWD directly from the receiver or flight controller over CRSF or PWM. Aircraft without a free signal output, such as DJI M350-class platforms, can use the light-sensor trigger on the bottom auxiliary light, or a separate remote. The 7–28 V input runs straight from common drone battery packs.

Payloads are seated in the round ports and the buckle latch of each channel is closed over them. The PWD controller listens for a release command on its assigned trigger: a CRSF or PWM channel from the radio, a light pulse read by the optical sensor taped over the aircraft’s bottom auxiliary light, or a button on the dedicated remote. On command, the servo of the selected channel opens its latch and that payload falls clear; all other channels stay locked until called.

The PWD is intended for FPV-class drones and custom multirotors with CRSF or PWM outputs, and for DJI M350-class enterprise multirotors. It is fitted with a quick-release plate: the dropper-side seat is a free upgrade, while the aircraft-side plate is sold separately and matched to the airframe. On FPV-class frames the hook-and-loop straps over the top plate offer a quick alternative. Always keep total take-off weight within the aircraft maker’s payload limit.

Every PWD variant uses the same buckle-latch channel design, 7–28 V input and trigger options; choose by channel count and the lift capacity of your aircraft. Each size is available as a CRSF build or as an SQ quick-release build.

For armed forces, paramilitary and government security units, the PWD provides multi-point delivery of marker, signalling, sensor and resupply payloads from one sortie, with positive latching and individual channel control.

For emergency services, utilities, agriculture and research teams, the PWD delivers several small items to separate points in one flight.

The PWD is the parallel-latch, multi-channel option for compact ovoid payloads in the FlySpark UAV Payload Droppers & Release Systems range. Lighter single- and dual-channel droppers suit camera drones, while heavy rack series suit large multirotors and larger cylindrical payloads.

IMPORTANT USE NOTE: The PWD is supplied only to verified end users. The buyer is responsible for using lawful payloads, obtaining airspace permissions and complying with export controls and local regulations. Payload fit is confirmed by FlySpark for the end user’s approved payload. Never fly over people, keep within the aircraft maker’s payload limit and confirm the drop zone is clear before every release.
Q: What is a multi-channel drone dropper? A: A multi-channel drone dropper is a payload release system with several independent release channels in one unit, so a single sortie can deliver several items one at a time to different points. The FlySpark PWD series offers 2, 4, 6 or 8 channels in a parallel-rack layout.
Q: What is the FlySpark PWD dropper? A: The FlySpark PWD is a parallel-latch multi-channel drone dropper for compact ovoid payloads. Each channel holds its payload with a mechanical buckle lock and is released individually by CRSF / PWM signal, light-sensor trigger or a dedicated remote, on a 7–28 V supply.
Q: Which variants are available? A: PWD2 (2-channel, 134 × 65 × 65 mm, approx. 140 g), PWD4 (4-channel, 145 × 120 × 70 mm, approx. 350 g), PWD6 (6-channel, size and weight on request) and PWD8 (8-channel, 280 × 120 × 71 mm, approx. 660 g). Each is offered in a CRSF build or an SQ quick-release build.
Q: What payloads does the PWD carry? A: The PWD is sized for compact ovoid payloads such as inert training dummies, marker and signal devices, small sensor or beacon capsules and compact rescue items. Payload fit is confirmed by FlySpark for the end user’s approved payload.
Q: How is the PWD triggered? A: Three trigger paths are supported: a CRSF (Crossfire / ELRS serial) or PWM servo channel from the receiver or flight controller, a light-sensor trigger that reads the aircraft’s bottom auxiliary light, or a separate remote. Each channel can be released on its own.
Q: How does the buckle lock work? A: Each channel has a mechanical buckle (latch) that closes over the payload when it is loaded. On a release command the servo opens that latch only, so the payload falls clear while the other channels stay locked.
Q: How is the PWD mounted to the aircraft? A: The PWD is designed for quick-release plate mounting. The dropper-side quick-release seat is a free upgrade; the aircraft-side quick-release plate is sold separately and matched to the airframe. Hook-and-loop straps over the top plate are an alternative for FPV-class frames.
Q: Is the aircraft-side quick-release plate included? A: No. The aircraft-side quick-release plate is sold separately because it is specific to the airframe. FlySpark can supply the matching plate for FPV-class drones and DJI M350-class aircraft.
Q: Which drones is the PWD compatible with? A: FPV-class drones and custom multirotors with CRSF or PWM outputs, and DJI M350-class enterprise multirotors using the light-sensor or remote trigger. Total take-off weight must stay within the aircraft maker’s payload limit.
Q: What is the optional chassis loading tray? A: An optional chassis loading tray measuring 260 × 200 × 36 mm and weighing approx. 310 g is available for staging and loading the rack. Ask FlySpark to include it in the quotation.
Q: What is the difference between the CRSF and SQ builds? A: The CRSF build takes the Crossfire / ELRS serial signal directly. The SQ build is the quick-release version, intended for use with a quick-release seat on the aircraft so the dropper can be swapped quickly between sorties.
Q: Why is the PWD6 size and weight shown as on request? A: The PWD6 dimensions and weight are confirmed with each quotation. The 2-, 4- and 8-channel figures are published: 134 × 65 × 65 mm / 140 g, 145 × 120 × 70 mm / 350 g and 280 × 120 × 71 mm / 660 g.
Q: Can each channel be released separately? A: Yes. Every channel has its own latch and servo, so payloads can be released one at a time at different points, or in quick succession, depending on how the trigger channels are assigned.
Q: What is the PWD drone dropper price in India? A: Price is on request because the configuration, channel count, build and mounting plate vary per aircraft. Contact FlySpark on WhatsApp or email for a quotation in INR or for export.
Q: What is the lead time, and do you export? A: Lead time is confirmed with the quotation. FlySpark supplies across India and handles export enquiries subject to applicable export-control rules and end-user documentation.
Q: Who can buy the PWD dropper? A: The PWD is supplied only to verified end users such as defence and government security agencies, public-safety organisations and professional integrators. The buyer is responsible for lawful payloads, airspace permissions and export compliance.
Q: Who decides which payloads the PWD carries? A: FlySpark supplies the PWD as a payload release system for lawful, safety and training roles. Integration of any other payload is the sole responsibility of the authorised end user in accordance with national law, export control and procurement rules.
Q: How does the PWD compare with other FlySpark droppers? A: The PWD is the parallel-latch, multi-channel option for compact ovoid payloads with a wide 7–28 V input and three trigger methods. Single- and dual-channel droppers suit lighter camera drones, while heavy rack series and revolver droppers suit larger cylindrical payloads.
Q: Does FlySpark provide integration support? A: Yes. FlySpark / AnuShakti Infotech Pvt. Ltd. supports airframe mounting, trigger channel set-up on CRSF / PWM radios, light-sensor installation, payload fit checks and operator training.
Q: What warranty is included? A: Warranty covers manufacturing defects for 1 year under approved use and normal operating conditions. Crash damage, overload, wrong supply voltage and unauthorised modification may not be covered.
