Intelligence Brief
FlySpark Drone Payload Quick-Release Mount Series is the aircraft-side half of the FlySpark dropper quick-release system: a mount that stays on the drone so payload droppers can be locked on, swapped or removed in seconds without tools or re-wiring. Six versions cover FPV-class and custom-built drones as well as the DJI Matrice M30T, M300 and M350 enterprise platforms, from the 20 g small universal XTS-D-V1 to airframe-specific DJI mounts with light-sensor or PSDK triggering.

The series is part of the FlySpark UAV Payload Droppers & Release Systems range, supplied and supported in India by AnuShakti Infotech Pvt. Ltd., with export enquiries welcome. It is written for defence units, government security agencies, public-safety services and professional integrators who need one airframe to carry different droppers from mission to mission.
The small universal XTS-D-V1 measures 48 × 80 × 18 mm, weighs approx. 20 g and is rated for equipment up to 1 kg on FPV-class and small custom drones. The medium mount is built to the specified aircraft, measures 107 × 75 × 20 mm, weighs approx. 55 g and is rated for equipment up to 4 kg. For DJI enterprise users there are dedicated medium versions: M30T light-sensor (approx. 450 g), M30T PSDK (approx. 485 g), M300 light-sensor (approx. 180 g) and M350 PSDK (approx. 223 g).

A fixed dropper ties an aircraft to one task. With the aircraft-side mount fitted once, the same drone can fly a smoke-marking sortie, a rescue-pouch drop and a sensor emplacement in the same shift, with each dropper prepared and checked on the bench before it is slid into place. The spring latch locks the dropper, and the contact interface carries the trigger signal, so there is no loose servo lead to plug in at the launch point.

The dropper-side slide is a free upgrade on supported FlySpark droppers, so buying a mount per aircraft is the only extra cost of moving a fleet to quick-release operation. On DJI Matrice platforms the mount is matched to the airframe and to the trigger method you prefer: the light-sensor version needs no wiring into the aircraft, while the PSDK version uses the aircraft’s own payload port.

The small and medium universal mounts are flat slide plates with side rails, latch blocks at the entry end and a row of spring contact pins. DJI-specific versions are built around the airframe’s own mounting points, so their dimensions are confirmed with the quotation.

The aircraft-side mount is fixed to the drone once. A FlySpark dropper fitted with the dropper-side slide is pushed along the rails until the latches engage, which locks it mechanically and connects the trigger path. To remove it, release the latches and slide the dropper out.

Choose the mount by aircraft and by the total weight of dropper plus payload. Light single- and dual-channel droppers on FPV-class drones suit the small XTS-D-V1 within its 1 kg rating. Heavier multi-channel droppers on custom multirotors suit the medium custom mount within 4 kg. On DJI Matrice M30T, M300 and M350 aircraft, use the matching airframe version and stay within the aircraft manufacturer’s payload limits.

A quick-release mount lets one aircraft carry the right dropper for each task, which keeps fleets small and turnaround short for armed forces, paramilitary units and government security agencies.
For rescue services, utilities, agriculture and research, the mount turns a single drone into a multi-role delivery platform with tool-free payload changes.

The quick-release mount series is the common interface across FlySpark droppers. Choose the mount for the aircraft, then choose the dropper for the mission.
The quick-release mount series is supplied only to verified end users. The buyer is responsible for using lawful payloads, obtaining airspace permissions and complying with export-control rules. Never fly a loaded drone over people, stay within the mount’s rated load and the aircraft manufacturer’s payload limits, and check the latch before every flight. Payload fit is confirmed by FlySpark for the end user’s approved payload.
Q: What is a drone payload quick-release mount? A: It is the aircraft-side half of a two-part quick-release interface. The mount stays fixed to the drone, and a FlySpark dropper fitted with the matching dropper-side slide locks into it, so droppers can be changed in the field without tools or re-wiring.
Q: Which versions are available? A: Six: the small universal XTS-D-V1 (48 × 80 × 18 mm, approx. 20 g, load up to 1 kg), a medium mount custom-built per aircraft (107 × 75 × 20 mm, approx. 55 g, load up to 4 kg), DJI Matrice M30T light-sensor (approx. 450 g), M30T PSDK (approx. 485 g), M300 light-sensor (approx. 180 g) and M350 PSDK (approx. 223 g).
Q: What is the medium custom quick-release mount? A: A 107 × 75 × 20 mm, approx. 55 g mount made to suit the specific aircraft you name, rated for equipment up to 4 kg. Send FlySpark the airframe model and mounting points when ordering.
Q: What does the light-sensor version do? A: On the DJI Matrice M30T and M300 versions the release is triggered optically: a sensor sits over the aircraft’s bottom auxiliary light, so switching that light from the remote controller signals the dropper. No wiring into the aircraft is required.
Q: What does the PSDK version do? A: The DJI Matrice M30T and M350 PSDK versions connect by cable to the aircraft’s payload SDK (PSDK) port, so the dropper is powered and commanded through the aircraft’s own payload interface. FlySpark confirms the exact control workflow with each order.
Q: Is the mount the same as the dropper-side slide? A: No. This product is the aircraft-side mount. The dropper-side slide is a free upgrade on supported FlySpark droppers (the SQ quick-release versions and the parallel-rack series), where the aircraft-side mount is sold separately.
Q: How do I choose between the small and medium mounts? A: Add the dropper weight and the heaviest payload you plan to carry. Up to 1 kg, the small XTS-D-V1 suits FPV-class drones; up to 4 kg, use the medium custom mount; on DJI Matrice M30T, M300 or M350 choose the matching airframe version.
Q: Which FlySpark droppers can use these mounts? A: Quick-release (SQ) versions of the single- and multi-channel droppers such as ZD1-SQ, M18ZD1-SQ, SMOKER2-SQ, ZD4-SQ, ZD6-SQ, ZD8-SQ and XD2-SQ, and the parallel-rack series such as M18SD. FlySpark confirms each dropper and mount pairing at order.
Q: Does the mount change the drone’s flight behaviour? A: The small mount adds approx. 20 g and the medium custom mount approx. 55 g. The DJI versions add 180–485 g depending on the version. Always re-check centre of gravity, take-off weight and flight time with the dropper and payload fitted.
Q: Can I fit the mount myself? A: Yes. The mounts are designed for user installation with basic tools. FlySpark supplies fitting guidance and can pre-configure the trigger channel on request.
Q: What is the price of the drone payload quick-release mount in India? A: Price is on request because DJI versions and custom medium mounts are configured per aircraft. Contact FlySpark on WhatsApp or email for a quotation in INR or for export.
Q: Is customisation available? A: Yes. The medium quick-release mount can be built to a specified aircraft model; customisation is quoted with the order, and lead time depends on the airframe.
Q: What is the lead time, and do you export? A: Standard versions are usually supplied quickly from stock or short build; custom airframe versions take longer. FlySpark supplies across India and handles export enquiries subject to end-user documentation and export-control rules.
Q: Can these mounts carry weapons? A: The mount is a mechanical and electrical interface for FlySpark payload droppers. It is supplied only to verified end users; any payload must be lawful, and integration of other authorised payloads is the end user’s responsibility in accordance with national law and procurement rules.
Q: What payloads are typically dropped with mount-equipped droppers? A: Rescue pouches, radios, flotation aids, first-aid kits, M18-class smoke canisters, sensors and beacons, utility pilot lines and inert training payloads. Payload fit is confirmed by FlySpark for the end user’s approved payload.
Q: Does the mount need its own battery or receiver? A: No. The universal mounts pass the aircraft-side trigger and power through the quick-release interface, the light-sensor versions read the aircraft’s bottom light, and the PSDK versions take power and control from the PSDK port.
Q: Is the M300 version usable on the M350? A: Order the version matching your aircraft and trigger method: light-sensor for the M300, PSDK for the M350. If you operate both, tell FlySpark so the plates can be matched to one dropper fleet.
Q: What is supplied in the box? A: The selected aircraft-side quick-release mount with its fixing hardware; PSDK versions include the connection cable. Droppers and payloads are sold separately.
Q: What warranty is included? A: Warranty covers manufacturing defects for 1 year under approved use and normal operating conditions. Damage from crashes, overload beyond the rated load or unauthorised modification may not be covered.
