Intelligence Brief
The FlySpark TK650 is a lightweight tracked robot chassis — a compact, general-purpose small tracked UGV (unmanned ground vehicle) for developers, integrators and research teams who need a rugged tracked platform that is easy to carry, easy to program and ready for real payloads. At 650 × 480 × 200mm and about 25kg, it carries a 30kg rated load, runs 3–4 hours on its 48V 40Ah lithium battery and climbs 35° slopes, so one platform covers lab benches, factory aisles and outdoor trials.
The TK650 is the lightest tracked model in the FlySpark Unmanned Ground & Surface Vehicles (UGV / USV) range. Its high-carbon-steel hull is finished with baked electrostatic paint and rides on 8 sets of independent (Christie-type) suspension with 80mm rubber tracks that have an embedded Kevlar fibre tensile layer. Two 48V 300W brushless DC motors with industrial-grade 1000-line incremental photoelectric encoders give high torque, smooth low-speed control from 0 to 3.6km/h and accurate odometry.

The chassis is small enough for two people to lift into a vehicle and to pass through standard doors and lifts, yet its flat top deck takes a 30kg payload — more than its own approx. 25kg weight.

On the ground, the TK650 turns in place by track differential, climbs 35° slopes, steps over 80mm obstacles, operates from -20°C to 60°C and is sealed to IP54 as standard, with an IP66 build available on request.

The TK650 is built as an open development platform rather than a closed toy or vehicle. It gives research labs and integrators a tracked base that is light enough to handle every day, carries real sensor payloads, exposes its drive through a documented Serial/CAN protocol and comes with integration, commissioning and after-sales support from FlySpark / AnuShakti Infotech Pvt. Ltd. in India.
The TK650 is the entry point of the FlySpark UGV robot chassis family. Choose by payload, terrain and drive type; all models share the same integration and support approach.

The main controller runs open-loop and PID closed-loop control, accepts velocity commands from a host computer over Serial or CAN with a published communication protocol, and reports linear and angular velocity back. That makes it straightforward to add an onboard computer, ROS navigation stack, lidar, depth cameras, GNSS/RTK, a small manipulator or a mission payload without reverse-engineering the drive system.

Payload power comes straight from the main pack through reserved 48V 10A, 24V 3A and 12V 3A connectors, so sensors, radios and computers run without extra batteries. The standard 2.4GHz remote control gives forward, reverse, left, right and spin-in-place control with about 200m line-of-sight range, and long-range remote controllers, real-time HD 1080P video transmission, mesh self-organizing network radios and 4G/5G remote control are available as upgrades.

Its small footprint, low profile and open Serial/CAN control make the TK650 a practical base for lightweight security, reconnaissance and EOD robot development and for training use.

Indoors and outdoors, the TK650 carries sensors and tools for inspection, cleaning, agriculture and research teams that need a dependable tracked base, and it is a natural fit as an unmanned ground vehicle for research and robotics education.

IMPORTANT USE NOTE: The TK650 is a mobile robot chassis for lawful industrial, security, research, rescue, agricultural and educational applications. Operate it only on sites where you have permission, keep people clear of the tracks during operation, respect the 30kg rated load and IP54 rating (IP66 build on request), and follow local safety, RF and site regulations. Optional radio links must be used only on legally permitted frequencies and power levels.
Q: What is the FlySpark TK650? A: The FlySpark TK650 is a lightweight tracked robot chassis — a compact, general-purpose small tracked UGV (unmanned ground vehicle) for robot developers. It measures 650 × 480 × 200mm, weighs about 25kg, carries a 30kg rated payload and runs 3–4 hours per charge.
Q: What is a tracked UGV? A: A tracked UGV is an unmanned ground vehicle that moves on continuous tracks instead of wheels. Tracks spread the weight, grip loose or uneven ground and let the vehicle turn in place, which makes tracked robot chassis well suited to patrol, inspection, rescue and research robots that leave smooth floors.
Q: How long does the TK650 run on one charge, and how is it charged? A: Endurance is 3–4 hours from the standard 48V 40Ah lithium battery, depending on payload, terrain, speed and temperature. The pack has overcharge and over-discharge protection and charges from the included AC 220V charger through an independent aviation plug.
Q: What motors drive the TK650? A: The standard build uses two 48V 300W brushless DC motors, each with an industrial-grade 1000-line incremental photoelectric encoder for accurate speed feedback. A 24V motor and battery configuration can be discussed on request.
Q: What terrain can the TK650 handle? A: It climbs slopes up to 35° and steps over obstacles up to 80mm high. The 8 sets of independent (Christie-type) suspension and 80mm rubber tracks keep it stable on factory floors, paving, grass, gravel, sand and packed dirt, indoors and outdoors.
Q: What are the dimensions and weight? A: Overall dimensions are 650 × 480 × 200mm (L × W × H) and net weight is about 25kg, so two people can lift it into a vehicle and it fits through standard doors and lifts.
Q: Is the TK650 waterproof, and what temperatures can it handle? A: The standard protection rating is IP54 (dust-protected and splash-resistant), and an IP66 sealed configuration can be built on request for wet, dusty or wash-down environments. The chassis operates from -20°C to 60°C and is not designed for wading.
Q: How is the TK650 controlled? A: It ships with a 2.4GHz remote control for forward, reverse, left, right and spin-in-place turning (track differential self-rotation), with about 200m line-of-sight range. Long-range remote controllers are available as an upgrade.
Q: Does the TK650 support ROS? A: Yes, through its open protocol. The main controller accepts host-computer velocity commands over Serial or CAN and reports linear and angular velocity back, so a ROS or ROS 2 navigation stack can drive it through a simple host-side driver node. The Autonomy / ROS Development Package adds protocol onboarding and commissioning support.
Q: Is the TK650 a good unmanned ground vehicle for research? A: Yes. Its 25kg weight, 30kg payload, open-loop and PID closed-loop control, dual 1000-line encoders and documented Serial/CAN protocol make it a practical ROS tracked robot platform for SLAM, navigation and autonomy research in universities and R&D labs.
Q: How do I integrate a payload on the TK650? A: Mount sensors, computers or tools on the flat top deck using its pre-drilled mounting points, and power them from the reserved 48V 10A, 24V 3A and 12V 3A connectors. FlySpark can prepare a mounting and wiring plan for cameras, lidar, GNSS, radios or a small manipulator within the 30kg rated load.
Q: How does the TK650 compare with other FlySpark UGVs? A: The TK650 is the lightest tracked chassis in the FlySpark range, ideal for labs, indoor/outdoor development and payloads up to 30kg. For more payload choose the tracked TK990 (80kg), TK1000 (100kg, stair climbing) or TK2100 (300kg, 500mm wading); for paved sites the wheeled AM400, AM600 and OM600 are also available.
Q: What is the TK650 used for? A: Indoor and outdoor autonomous patrol robots, security and EOD robot development platforms, firefighting and rescue robot bases, plant and utility inspection, cleaning, agricultural spraying, disinfection robots, target-carrier platforms for training ranges, and university or R&D autonomy projects.
Q: Can the TK650 be armed? A: The TK650 is supplied as an unarmed mobile robot chassis. Any weapon or restricted payload integration must be lawful, is subject to export controls and end-use licensing, and is the responsibility of the authorised integrator and end user.
Q: What is the price of the TK650 tracked robot chassis in India? A: Price is on request because each chassis is configured to the customer’s payload, control and protection requirements. Contact FlySpark on WhatsApp or email for a quotation.
Q: What is the lead time, and do you export? A: Each TK650 is built on order, and the lead time is confirmed with the quotation for your configuration. FlySpark supplies customers across India and can support export orders subject to applicable export regulations and documentation.
Q: Does FlySpark provide integration support? A: Yes. FlySpark / AnuShakti Infotech Pvt. Ltd. supports payload mounting, power and data integration, autonomy-stack interfacing, commissioning, operator training and after-sales service.
Q: What warranty is included? A: Warranty covers manufacturing defects for 1 year under approved use and normal operating conditions. Damage from overload, water ingress beyond the rated IP class, impact, wrong charging or unauthorized modification may not be covered.
